We got to Niagara by 7:00pm and checked into the Doubletree hotel, which is designed like a fancy lodge (very neat) and then were given yummy cookies at sign in. The weather was horrendously crappy but we ventured out into the main street with our big umbrella and ate at Mama Mia's restaurant which was tasty. We walked around and saw the falls all lit up at night, pink and green which was very pretty.
Today we woke up and went down to do the maid of the mist tour. We got these blue ponchos and headed on the boat towards the falls and got soaked!! It's like a big rainstorm looking at the falls. We then walked around some more, was a beautiful hot sunny day, and then swam in the hotel pool. The latter part of the evening left us playing some glow in the dark mini golf, which of course Steve won. So far the trip has been fun. Next stop Columbus Ohio to stay with Stef and Josh.
